Hello to all.
Does anyone by chance have you thought (and tested) by sending audio line input (GK3) to record directly into the loop phraser gr-55?
I want to send a drum track, because the pendrive some functions are disabled. Maybe creating a key system to record the drum and then back to guitar pickup would be a good alternative.
What do you think of the idea?

Not thought about that,
but I do see some problems to try do that though.

The Looper is set at the GR-55 output, so the drums have to travel through the amp modelling and effects used at the time with the guitar signal.

You would have to start the looper recording, switch over the input signal from the guitar, and switch on the drum tracks all at the same time.

The drums track level would have to dropped down to instrument level at the GK-3 input.

I was thinking of using a UCA222 with the channel for the battery (mono) and the other to plug the guitar and send the RCA output (cleaner than the headphones) and would record up to 20 seconds for a stretch of track using a drum patch without effects. then it would just stop the player station where the drum tracks and start playing the guitar on the recorded loop.

Just  an FYI - the Behringer UCA222 as a Class compliant USB Audio Interface that requires a separate computer or  ipad+CCK to act as a  "recorder"

UCA222 USB Port can not connect to the GR-55 USB port, as Both the GR-55 and UCA222 are USB Client devices.

yes it is true. Then I researched more and found about about it.

I'm analyzing the possibilities for use of loop and drum tracks synchronized. (iOS is not being very stable at this point)

ipod touch does not recognize the CCK because it has iOS 7.x

I had an iphone 4s with CCK, but when overheated wore Loopy (app).

I believe that ipad would not be very compact. (besides fragile)

I'm accepting suggestions

thank you
