Here's something I found earlier today, a DIY project to make your own "Taurus" style MIDI bass pedal. I know you can always buy a Keith McMillan 12 step but I thought this was pretty neat.

Here's the website: http://electronicmelodist.blogspot.fi/2014/01/one-evening-project-easy-midi-bass.html?m=1

Here's a video he put on YouTube:

:) Unfortunately I'm not that handy at DIY projects, I just thought I'd give a heads-up to anybody who is handy at things like this so if anybody does do a project like this please post it here.

I would hunt craigslist for an old Conn/Thomas Home Organ and steel the Bass Pedals, then get a HighlyLiquid
MIDI CPU: Instant DIY MIDI Controller / MIDI Encoder $45

I just bought a footpedal section from an old electric organ this past December. The scheme I had was to scan it with a PIC and have the PIC send out MIDI.
