Saw this picture of the new EH 22500 looper on a suppliers site. Might be interesting. Anybody who knows more wants to chime in?

On a few different sites I see a retail of EURO 253,- (Musik-Produktiv) and $309,99 (LA Music)

Electro Harmonix 22500 Dual Stereo Looper

Product Information
Electro Harmonix's looping pedals offer great value for money and are a useful addition to any guitarist's setup. The 22500 Dual Stereo Looper feels just as much at home on stage as it does in the studio. It has a retro look, but its technology is quite modern: audio is recorded to an SDHC card and you can connect the looper to your Mac or PC via a USB port in order to save your loops. Of course Electro Harmonix wouldn't be Electro Harmonix if they hadn't equipped the 22500 pedal with a number of fantastic experimental features.

Possibilities

The 22500 allows you to record up to thirteen hours of audio (using a 32GB SDHC) and 100 individual loops. An 8GB SDHC card is included so you can get started straight away. As the name implies, the Dual Stereo Looper gives you control over two stereo loops, which can be used independently or linked together. Each channel has its own mix control, and the looper also has a gain control for incoming signals. In addition to the usual foot switches per loop there's a third programmable foot switch that can be used for functions like tap tempo.

Additional features

Electro Harmonix is known to offer a little more than just the standard options, by adding experimental functions to their effect pedals. At times those features can be a little over the top, but in this case they hit the nail right on the head. Each loop of the 22500 has its own reverse function, for instance, as well as a practical octave function - ideal for one-man bands. To top it all off, the Dual Stereo Looper is equipped with a number of built-in drum patterns. Are you looking for a looper that really gets your creative juices flowing and is perfect for use on stage? Check out the EHX 22500!

Electro-Harmonix 22500 Dual Stereo Looper during reservation acceptance in Canada of musical instrument store LA Music is 309.99 Canadian dollars (about ¥ 29,500). Shipment has been described as March schedule.

The looper of Erehamo There are 45000 of 4-track recording was released in 2013, but this time of 22500 is that the half of the two-track recording, might have been the product name than half of 45000.

It should be noted that Nano Pog small octave pedal in Erehamo product also accepting reservations before formal announcement is part of the musical instrument store has begun.

Interesting specs, looking forward to demos!! Might be a winner for that price.

Featurewise it seems quite comparable to the Pigtronix Infinity Looper. So far a lot cheaper though (Infinty = EURO 484)

Interesting product - more seemingly for song style loopers rather than avant style but I like that more and more interesting products are coming out and EHX products have always been increasingly more interesting.

Would I choose it over the Infinity?  I'd like to know the audio specs on the 22500 for audio quality.  They are both compelling products from what I can see.

Headless68

not really anything out there other than this info, no demos at all that I can find - Steve did you catch this at Namm ?   Bill R - have you had chance to play this at EHX ?

Electro-Harmonix has a Dual Stereo Looper with Layering, USB
BY PETER KIRN

Electro-Harmonix have a new looper out, introduced last week in Nashville, that I suspect could be a really big hit. The winners: dual stereo operation, loads of recording space, and then easy connection via USB so a looped improv today could be the beginning of a track tomorrow. Oh, and it's not expensive, either.
When it comes to looping in live performance, most folks haven't taken to the computer as much as the standalone looper, particularly BOSS' LoopStation line. And that's with good reason: you want dead-simple operation so you can focus on playing.
The heart of the idea is giving you access to two loops. And their implementation couldn't be simpler. There are two footswitches, one for each loop, so you can record, play back, or overdub on each loop with your foot – tap once to start, tap twice to stop.
You can use those individually or link them together, with separate mix controls for each.
Around that, there's a lot more power if you want it:
Up to 100 individual loops, selected by knob.
Up to 13 hours record time (because it records to an SDHC, with capacity up to 32GB)
"Verse/chorus" switch (what, no "bridge"?)
Mic input, gain control
Reverse
Pitch up/down octave – with dedicated controls if you get their optional foot pedal
USB port connects to the computer so you can save your loops
Built-in drum patterns (definitely keeping the soloist in mind here, whether practicing or playing)
Included power adapter, 8GB SDHC card
ehwithpedal
ehback
There are also different looping modes: in series, in parallel, quantized rhythms, free-form looping, unlimited layering, and the ability to undo.
This being Electro-Harmonix, it's made in the USA and comes in a metal case.
US list is US$359.97. If you want the additional foot controller, that's another US$117.15. (Uh... odd pricing there, but okay! I'll be glad they didn't set it to $119.99 and buy myself a medium coffee.) That's running about 270€ street with tax in Europe.
Sound on Sound got a walkthrough. (Ah, as a Kentucky native now living in Europe, something oddly amusing about the British-meets-Southern drawl accent collision in this series.)

I'm not a guitarist, and I kind of want one. This was first mentioned in Germany, but now gets its formal release.
You've got a lot of looper choices, including others even from E-H. Their fanciest is the 4-channel 45000 multi-track looping recorder, though I suspect for some dual stereo will be enough. Which looping hardware are you using? Or are you using software? Let us know in comments.

Looks really compelling now that I see the ports and memory card slot, phantom power, etc.

The EHX 22500 records 16-bit audio at a sample rate of 44.1 kHz.

By the way, even the old 45000 records 16-bit audio at 44.1 kHz.

No midi?
Correct. There is no MIDI and no synchronizing it with other devices. I just skimmed the manual looking for signs of either MIDI or of a way to sync it externally. I see no mention of synching it to anything.
