I have a split/fret wired fretboard from a game controller that I would like to splice into the matrix of a midi arranger keyboard.Does anyone know if there's a (relatively) simple way of figuring out how the fretboards matrix corresponds to the 61note keyboard matrix?
Thanks in advance.

You will need a schematic for the keyboard matrix.
One hurdle will be that velocity sensitive keyboards have two switches per key,
the first switch closes as the key starts it's travel, the second closes at the bottom of the key travel,
and note velocity is calculated by the time difference between the first and second switch closing.

I had no plans of actually playing it, fretwired proved to be problematic with the Zeta Mirror.I just want to use it as an ON/OFF note trigger, so I can trigger the cool arrangements on the keyboard with a familiar layout, then I could pull the keys and amp, mount the guts in a compact wood case, and have a very portable arranger.
