I play Country music too, I'm just not sure which country it's from...

I like Aquatics, that's nice. Thanks for posting those.

I like aquatics best but both have great sounds.
Thanks for posting them. It's amazing how different my experiments sound and you really show me the possible range. I appreciate all your posts but somehow this one is very timely for me.

Are you finding some love for the SY300 yet ?  I'm still considering one at the moment

Thanx

Yes I do but... :) there's two things that sits so so with me.
1: It's not polyphonic unless you restrict your use of intervals.
The chords are a mush and would have been so much better with a hex.
2: The input settings are such a huge part ofte sound as well as what you
put into to the synth that the exchange part is almost out the window.
Also the settings makes IMO into a thousand possibilities which in one way
is great and in another makes me crazy.

That said,  I'm thinking of getting a backup  ::)

That about sums up the sy300 experience for me as well.

I purchased a second unit knowing it's faults, but the sy also has a lot of unique qualities going for it. It's faults may be it's strong point. ;-)

it is interesting to look at the daw recorded sy waveform graphic (like a sine or triangle )  vs a truly analog synth waveform.

The sy wave appears stepped. I think that is where the sy fuzzyness starts, with an imperfect waveform.
