The delayed guitar is playing something different altogether, but as long as it is not to far from the key of D it sounds wonderful.

I added an mp3 with an example of this patch. It is one take on one guitar. Key is set to D. Enjoy.

I am converting the .g9e files to .mid files because they contained system information. Just trying to get rid of the land mines.

Added an mp3 example of this patch. Still one of my favourite.

Nice sound.

To remove system settings before installing a g9e file on VG-99 you can open Editor offline and then export as SMF with patch info only. Then turn on VG-99 and import new SMF to desired user patch.  Will not contain patch authors system settings.  I do this with all g9e files before installing patch,

No matter what I do I don't seem to be able to import this file into the editor or librarian. I've imported other g9e files just fine. Now I get a message "cannot open files of this type".  Anyone have a clue?

You dont import g9e or g9l files, you open those.  File--->open.  You only import/export SMF (.mid) files.  Hope I am understanding your question correctly Vance.

You can import .g9e files, but you have to use the Import and not the Import SMF function under the file menu. To make sure, I also added the .mid file to this post. Enjoy.

Right - NONE of these options work....Open, Import, nothing.  This happens on quite a lot of g93 files but others open fine.

Thanks for the .mid files. They work fine. (as do some other g93 files).

Interesting patch!

I can't seem to figure out how you've made the ALT tune harmony to only effect the delay repeat and not the original note, how does this work?

Great stuff!

Channel A does the direct sound.
Channel B has the alternate tuning on and is delayed. Direct sound on the delay is off.

I get it now!

I didn't think of turning off the direct sound level, that's really clever.

Thankyou
