Hi, I've tried my Spectrasonics Omnisphere but it's very difficult to use it with the GR55 because there no patches numbers in Omnisphere so it's impossible to build complete patches... I also have Native FM8 but it bugs so much... Any ideas ?

FM8 should be working fine for you, if you are talking about tracking.  It takes up little cpu resources.

A good all around vsti is IK Multimedia's SampleTank.  It's pretty cost effective, has some really nice usable bread and butter sounds, and the expansion packs are great.  I got an excellent CD's worth of analog keyboard samples and patches for $14.00.

It's very low on cpu compared to Kontakt.  It's easy to use, and each one of the 16 channels (it's multitimbral) has an entire bank of great sounding fx that somehow barely touch your resources.  It's really a workstation in a vst.

Yes but FM8 is pretty vicious... One day it works and the other no...
Did you try a Spectrasonics synth such as Omnisphere or Trillian ?

I usually don't dole out this kind of advice, but if you're not afraid of streaming samplers, and are looking for a killer synth engine with very strong aftermarket 'synth' libraries, you should seriously look at HALion Sonic. (and their add-on libraries like Triebwerk)

Thanks, I'll look at this soft... Did you use it with a midi guitar ?
