I've been looking through some old synths and I wondered if an automatic octave switching is possible on the vg-99?

Sort of like a timed switch cycling through the octaves continuously, so after you play a series of notes it jumps to the next octave while still playing the same fret / note sequence.

A pedal cycling through the octaves as its pressed is the obvious solution but it would be neat if it was automatic and foot pedalling could be used for other expressions instead.

Any ideas?  Thanks all!!

You could map the  Wave Pedal (LFO) as a control source for the VG-99's   "Mod, Octave" FX

Similar Strategies have existed on all Boss GT units - read all docs that talk about these
