Can anyone tell me how to wire the kit without the DP DT switch that comes with the kit. I just want to always have mixed signal going out all the time and I can cut the volume off on the reg volume pot if I don't want to hear the reg guitar signal. The last  4 wires blue orange yellow green off the harness are whats left after installing everything else. The hex pickup works fine but I get no regular guitar signal through the 13 pin cable and some of the patches in the GR55 need it to sound realistic.  ???

Many simply do not install the three way "Guitar/Mix/Synth" ON-off-On DPDT Switch

This leaves you with a guitar in the "Mix" position all the time, as long as you set the VG/GR/GP processor to "GK-2A"

else you must follow the steps here

Remember the most important control when doing any internal GK install is the GK-VOl pot

If you omit the GK-VOL pot, then the connected VG/GR/GP 13pin processor will typically have all patches subject to the Patch Level control which is typically under direct control of the GK-VOL pot. if you omit the GK-VOL pot, you typically must to edit all patches you expect to use to avoid using the "non existing" GK-VOL control .

By any chance does anyone have a laymans diagram of how to leave out the guitar/mix/synth switch? i have looked at this diagram and read all attached posts for i dont know how long and i just cant 100% understand it  ???

Those wires can be left floating.  When the switch is in the MIX position,  that is what happens. Just tape then off. If you are not going to install the S1/S2 switches,  that entire connector can be omitted.

Thanks everyone for the advice, I finally had some extra time to open up the guitar and omit the Gk/mix/Guit switch everything seems to function properly,  I tested it on my GR 55 and had forgot about changing the Gk setting to Gk2 A, it still seemed to function properly, will the pin 9 voltages cause problems if set to GK3?
