Hi again,

Just a quick question regarding the 'guitar output' level on the VG. Is the volume of this fixed or can it be altered? I set up a recording situation to receive the VG 'wet' signal from 'output' on one channel and the dry, original guitar signal from 'guitar output' on  another.

It appears that the level control adjusts only the wet signal and doesn't affect the dry signal, which appears to be stable and unalterable.

Would be great if someone could confirm this for me or is it possible to actually alter the 'guitar out' level? Couldn't find anything in the manual so presuming it's fixed.

Many thanks.

Correct - think of the VG-88s "Guitar Output" as a "Tuner Out" - it is simply a buffered version of the Normal Mag PU signal when present on either Pin #7 of VG-88's "GK IN" jack ( from a Gk-3 +13pin cable) or  a buffered version of the Normal Mag PU signal when normal guitar is connected to the VG-88's 1/4" Guitar Input.

Zero VG-88 processing occurs on the Guitar Output signal, but does go through an active opamp instrument buffer

Such precise knowledge and record breaking response time. Brilliant! And thanks!

All the best,
