Is their any reason the VG-8 could not be modded like a GR55  using the pin7 mono jack/switching jack effect loop modification? I have one I have been unable to sell and the only reason I don't use it is because of the way the wah works or doesn't. If I could put a dist. and wah in front of the input signal of the cosm pickup it would be cool. Anyone know which pins etc...are used in these old units for that signal flow?

Thanks,

T.C.

The old 1995 VG-8 lacks a normal guitar signal path internally  - so that becomes the deal breaker there,

Some just feed normal guitar to one COSM string path (GK Pin #1)  - But that method has many gotchas.

The 2001 VG-88 Does have a normal guitar signal path internally and already has a normal guitar input.
