Hey guys,

I first have to apologize that it has taken me so long to become active on this forum. I have read it for years, and only recently decided to take the plunge and start bringing my VB-99 out on the road with me.

So far I am pretty happy with it.

I love the tracking, and the ability to really morph my sounds.

What I am about to dive into is to try to emulate Moog type sounds on this thing.

I just opened up the Editor for the first time, so it might take a bit to get a hang of the thing.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

fokof

I've uploaded a couple here , you could start from that and experiment.

Filter , OSC and GR are more Moog friendly.

I found that by building a patch as a low end on an engine and a top end on the other is the best way to recreate older type of sounds.
You can create different texture of low end by using different synth or only bass+octavers

One quick question...

When I'm saving my synth in the editor, do I just save the Patch?

Just want to make sure before I upload anything here.

Yes, I would only save the patch. Most don't want their SYSTEM settings changed when the load a patch.
