Katana - Acoustic Sim issues

I am trying to use the acoustic sim and getting bad noises almost like what a guitar sounds like when it's fretting out but it's distorted too. I have tried everything it seems. The only way I can get it to go away is bring all the levels way down the where the volume is way too low. I've tried compressor settings, amp settings(acoustic and clean), sim settings, eq settings, and nothing makes it go away once I start to turn levels up. 

Any help?

Have you replaced the battery in your acoustic guitar?
