Got my GK 3 from Japan the other day
« on: March 18, 2017, 11:33:22 PM »

I'm wondering if it matters if you play round or flat wound strings. what about gage? I have a flatwound hybrid set 13, 17, 20, 28, 38,48 currently.
It's been a long time since I did this stuff regularly. Thank you for your time.

In my opinion-
the heaviest flat wound strings

I find that heavy strings are louder, and have less harmonics.
I heard that flat wound is better- I'm not exactly sure about it though
