Metaphasic

So, I just got my GR-55 and a new Les Paul. I love the system, and am having a ball, though I am having an issue with one cosm model in particular; the GR-300.

Background:

I installed the pickup, using the included manual, and both of the spacers with screw holes and adjusted radius. The high E is slightly less than 1mm and low E is 1mm. All string cross yokes, but not exactly center (expected for this guitar type). I have adjusted my distances and sensativities appropriately.

Problem:

The high E string starts losing volume as I go past the 12th fret or so. This only occurs with the GR-300 model. All the other models work like a beast.

Observations:

Since it works with all other models, I assume there is an issue with this particular model? In addition, is it just me, or is the DIST (Hexafuzz) Mode setting dramatically weaker than a real GR-300? I've owned two in the past, and this doesn't seem as driven or have the sustain a real unit would.

Comments and suggestions would be helpful here.
