Hello all! I have a gt 001 and love it. My question is can it be used to record guitar tracks on my laptop like a presonus etc with recording software. If so what else do I need to record as far as softeare etc. Please understand I am a TOTAL neweb when it comes to computer recording.

Read the GT-001 manual

Install your GT-001 USB drivers

Intall Boss Tone Central for Boss GT

Get familiar with the 24 bit audio interface functions of your GT-001  - yes it replaces a Presonus interface

Use DAW application of your choice, on windows it must be ASIO compliant  - ( Reaper, N-Track, Studio-One, Mixcraft, Cubase, Protools, etc
