An slightly slimmed-down emulation of the 'Block-1' Main Cabinet of the Roland System 700 modular. Slightly fewer Mults, VCOs don't have separate outs for each waveform (but waves are blend-able in any combination of two) and the Output module is simplified - no Reverb section, test tones or Phase Shifter. Patching is by drop-downs at each input.
-Three VCOs.
-One Noise/Ring Modulator module.
-Two multimode filters.
-Two VCAs.
-One Output module with three pan-able inputs. (Would love to give credit to whomever created the lovely VU meters if they would come forward!).
-One Dual Envelope Generator.
-Two LFOs; slightly different.
-One Sample & Hold.
-One 3-input Mixer with inverted and non-inverted outputs.
-One 3-mult and one 4-mult.
-One Amplifier/Envelope Follower/Integrator module.
Also available is a version which exchanges the Amp/Follower/Integrator module for a second Dual Envelope Generator.
This does NOT emulate or model the actual sound of any Roland or any other vintage hardware synth, just borrows from the control design, layout and panel design of the System 700.
.
32-bit, so will require jBridge, etc., (or a DAW that will bridge) for use on 64-bit systems.
The link on the website is to a Dropbox folder that also contains the .osm Synthmaker source 'schematics', so anyone with SM, or it's successor Flowstone, can alter it to suit. It's hoped that anyone who makes significant improvements will share the result with everyone.
As this was originally built for my own use only, there are no presets included; I wanted to come at the instrument anew each time, as one did with vintage analog hardware.

Check out what a real Synth Owners manual looks like
