My time is limited and this alley is a bit unwalked by me so I ask you right away:

1. I'm not a live looper guy but I'd be interested in having a few introductions pre-recorded.
(It's possible with the GR-55 but it would be better having it away from the GR-55). Every track must stop when done.

2. Also I want to sit home and loop for practice and testing ideas and solos. I have a BeatBuddy I would like to integrate in the loop.

3. I don't want something as bulky as the RC-300 and I don't want to use computers or iOS devices.

So now my friends what loop pedal do you recommend?
But I got more gear than I need...and I like it!

The Digitech Jamman Stereo Looper is fairly full featured, can do single phrase,  small footprint.  Very reasonable prices used. Not sure how you want to use the beat buddy,  so I'm not sure how that would fit in.

The Jamman Stereo is a good choice for sure.

On the other hand, if you dont want to record the BB but keep it in sync with the looper, in that case you need a looper with midi. The Infinity looper by Pigtronix might be a good choice as it is much smaller than the RC300 and is 24 bits.
