Does anyone know how I can get a completely blank patch (basically starting from scratch)?  I want a blank template to work with and can't seem to find it.  Is there a place to download or a way to do this on the pedal?
Thanks

Neither of those seem to work.  I downloaded and "true initialized patches" and there are sounds associated with them. It is not blank, for example there is a Sitar on one and strings on another.

Also I tried the "Initialize" Patch route and that also does not give a completely blank template.  There are still effects assigned.

My main problem is I have a delay coming through and I can't figure out why.  The delay is turned off and I still hear it.  I am trying to find a truly blank patch hoping to solve the problem.

Thanks but that doesn't give me a truly blank patch.  There is delay, chorus and other effects  already assigned.

Use Gumtown's GR-55 Floorboard Editor's "Patch Summary" function for a full text printout of any GR-55 patch  - and edit to taste

this one is as blank as you can get, everything is off except the dry normal guitar tone.

If other artifacts still are heard, then save all your user patches and try a factory reset.

I don't think there's anything such as a completely 'blank' patch...

It will always process something.  You just gotta remove all the bells & whistles & pick the most generic minimum you can.

Just initialize one and remove everything then save it and use the Library software to place it everywhere you want a blank slot.
I did a complete wipe INIT and one with many common settings I use to give me a jump on making something new.
The Library software comes in handy for massive rearranging of patches and copy/insert of something like a INIT you want in a bunch of places or perhaps everywhere until you make something to fit.

Here is a completely blank patch, it is what I use as a starting point for all my patches. If you use the GR-55 Floorboard editor place it in your initialized patches folder(default would be C:\Program Files (x86)\GR-55FloorBoard\init_patches and rename it INIT_Blank.g5l). You could also save it  in your default saved patch folder. If you editing it manually just pick a user patch and overwrite it and you can copy it from there to any user patch location.
