Hi, I'm looking for slide tuning presets already programmed in. There are so many presets it's difficult wading through them all and some of the descriptions are not that helpful. I'm looking for mainly E and A, and D- I've seen a couple of G in there already.are there any in there? Also, what sound would you recommend in the presets for a authentic slide guitar sound? I could always change the tuning on those.

A special E-Tuning is Preset 031(231) All E-Moving.
I remember all strings are tuned in E. (So it's not the 'wellknown' Open E)
P.S. I sometimes use it for Canned Heat's On the Road again (1967)... ;)

I posted one just called Slide but I don't see in in alt tunings...maybe I posted it as blues. Anyway look under my name & check it out - it sounds cool - on my setup at least.

Paresh, you are right, you've posted the patch in the Blues Section more than four years ago : ;)

Nice!...yikes it's so easy to set alternate tunings. Didn't realise. Some of the sounds are great- in fact I went through every patch and I think most of them I liked....unlike my Boss GT8 which sounds a bit lame compared to this. I've got a GT 10 as well but never looked at it much (I bought it because I thought my GT8 as on the way out). I finally get to look at my slide guitar books...after having them over 10 years.  :P

Good reference website for finding slide tunings:

That's where I found a "low G bass" dobro tuning I just now heard mentioned on my local radio.
