Does anybody know how to move the presets from FTP app/software that use Reaktor 5 Player to open up in Reaktor 6?

I have Reaktor 6 and want to ditch Reaktor 5 Player as the necessary instruments are included in Reaktor 6.

I'm not sure if it's an NI issue or a Fishman issue. In the past when I contacted Fishman support regarding a similar issue with Kontakt 5 presets not opening in FTP software they just told me to run the Elements software alongside the full version (Not the best solution, IMO).

Any ideas? :)

BUMP...In case anybody has an answer -- but I think it's unlikely.

The only way to solve it - AFAIKT - is to change/save the respective FTP Reaktor 5 factory patches' instruments as Reaktor 6 and then reprogram the preset to match the settings shown in Reaktor 5. I just was curious how it might work for a smoother workflow. One can seem to have too many VST options at times!  ::)

From the Fishman TriplePlay FAQ:
"Our factory patches are only available with full installations of our versions of Native Instruments and SampleTank. If you already have sounds you prefer, you may not be interested in our patches. However, there is no issue installing our versions of the partner software along with the packages you may already have. So if you have the time and the disk space, there is no harm in installing both, and you might get some new patches you really enjoy."

I'm probably just talking to myself here but I don't understand why but NI Reaktor makes it virtually impossible to move content to external drives in the same way you might move your Kontakt instrument libraries. You must redownload and reinstall the Reaktor content. And even the new version of Kontakt won't let you 'add a library' from the interface. You have to down-grade, add libraries and then re-upgrade...and don't dream of doing a batch 'point to libraries folder' type thing...you gotta install them one by one.

Can't help with your reaktor question but I'm gonna try your technique for adding libraries to kontakt.    It was very vexing  when they changed over to the newer method.

I can only add that NI customer support in US was among the worst experiences

Calling their support line,  Placed on hold for 90 minutes, and finally when I talked to support staff, they only reffered me to online NI knowledge base

https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/
- as they had no understanding on NI product problem solving / troubleshooting.

Plethoraguy, I used this method for Kontakt and it worked:

Elantric, I've had varying experiences with them. They do respond via email  but you can usually find your answers quicker with professor Google! The only time I ever called they helped but it was an account/refund issue.

Could any one send me FTP reaktor presets? I coudn't find them on my disk... and don't want to inslall 4,5 GB of Komplete Elements. I would be grateful.

Vaultnaemsae

You don't need to install the entire Komplete Elements package. There are checkbox options to choose which components you want to install. Hope this helps :)
