Hey everyone, I just wanted to share with you a four part video series I made on how to create and edit your own patches within the GR-55.  It is by no means a totally comprehensive tutorial, but very helpful none the less.  If you have just purchased your GR-55 and don't know where to start or you are consider buying it.  It will benefit you a lot to watch these videos.

Part 1 PCM Sounds

Part 2 Model Guitar

Part 3 Normal Pickup Effects

Part 4 Final Edits

Thanks once again for taking the time to make these quality videos, Kennis, and for sharing them. :)

Another +1

These are useful for more than just beginners - your PCM layering approach to create an ambient background beneath strumming is very well done.

Hi Kinnis
I just bought mine along with an XTSA and your publishings really help me to find and fast track my way around. Have you or anybody any experience with the looper function ? I was used to a RC20 and am a little lost when trying to time the looper ; so get it to start and stop a phrase on beat ? Thanks for your feed back.Peter

Great help! That chromatic on tip is invaluable.

Are you aware there is a chunk of vid 2 without sound? From about 2:40 to 5:15.

Thanks!

That's right... I've noticed that too... Nevertheless, these are pretty good videos indeed... I saw them before knowing you were part of this forum... Good to see that you're here... Your first videos on the GR55 helped me a lot to decide buying one for me, which I gladly did last week...

Very nice tone and very nice videos... keep them coming, right?

Probably best to subscribe to his YouTube channel

This is the playlist of all his GR-55 videos - there are 21 videos here!

but before we go,

Quotedon't forget the GR-55's long patch change delay (with mute) on each patch change.

To solve that problem, these posts might be the most important posts any GR-55 owner reads, and implement for their own patches:
