Question: how to mix external audio in phrase looper

Hello, is there any practical way of sending an external audio (eg microphone) to record along with the phrase looper gr-55 while playing guitar with gk-3?

I read some threads where created an extra entry, but I think the sound down to a microphone stand.

edit:  I do not know if anyone has done this not read this post because I just could adapt two parallel entries and added a microphone.
Of course it does not have the EQ of a mixer, but to improvise a rhythm style hip-hop already solves.

IF you obtain a small mixer  - you can feed a Mic into its XLR input and then feed output of Mixer into the 1/4" Input on your GK-3 and obtain your desired results.

Or perform one of the GR-55 modifications below to feed output of mixer direct into GR-55,   but know this will void your warranty

yes, thanks Elantric,
it should be very good. But how is something temporary, I would not risk it and just created an external box with 3 jack p10 interconnected. There was only plug in the cables.
My idea is to finish building the foot controller with 15 buttons for use with mini ipad. (Loopy HD + DrumPerfect).
