There are lots of videos showing the sounds on the GR-55, but I thought it might be helpful to people who are considering it if I made videos that show how the sounds are created and edited.

This video covers the amp models that are available in the GR-55's "NORMAL GUITAR" section - which means the amp models that the sound from your normal magnetic pickups can be run through. Future videos will delve into the COSM modeled guitars and the synthesizer programming to show how to build a patch for this amazing guitar tool.

It's a Parker Fly Deluxe with a built-in GK-Kit pickup.  I only used the mag pickups (no piezo at all) for the video.

Hello all, great demo.  So how would I go about setting or hooking up normal magnet to GR55 amp modelling?  I tried searching but couldn't find anything on it.

Use one of the many GR-55 with Normal 1/4" guitar input patches here:

and read the GR-55 FAQ

And don't forget that any given amp can have a LOT of variety. See attached recipes for just a few examples. I got this and many more like it from a simple search of Google images and Pinterest. Setting the amp parameters can make it seem like a totally different thing. I wish Roland had put basic amp knobs on the unit, because these are really super duper important.
