Can I get acoustic guitar sounds from the Fishman

I currently use a GR55 and Godin SA guitar, but it's cables everywhere and if I can get the sounds I want wirelessly I would jump on it. I'm always tripping on the cables so it would save me a broken neck one day !!!

I particularly like the 12 string acoustic sounds I get from the GGR55 for rhythm work, and the single switch back to the regular pickups for solo/melody stuff.

Will the Fishman do what I want wirelessly ?

Thanks.

Not the path I would recommend

As good as the Fishman Tripleplay is - there will remain the battle with Guitar to MIDI latency and its very  apparent on fast attack instruments  - like Acoustic guitar
its not going the be as fast / low latency as playing the GR-55's modeled 12 string acoustic guitar

If you are a solo performer, you may find use for triggering Acoustic guitar samples with FTP.
Fishman dealers even advertise this method , but in a band situation , it takes great talent to play ahead of the beat to compensate for Guitar to MIDI Latency , required skill if you want your triggered notes to land in time with rest of the band.

we have measured FTP MIDI Latency vs GR-55 here

If you need wireless electric guitar that can also make acoustic guitar sounds , consider a Variax (any model)  or a custom Guitar with Antares ATG Luthier kit instead - both those have instantaneous triggering of your performance
