Baritone Variax  Shuriken

Its a longer 27" scale length guitar  - and natively tuned Baritione

new DSP Algorthms have been adapted for this specific model

by contrast on a Tyler Variax ( or 2015 Variax Standard) - if you tune it to Baritione tuning - you get warbles in the DSP Alt Tunings

QuoteIf you like to perform with heavier strings and lower tunings, Variax Shuriken features a 27" baritone scale length that delivers optimized playability and punchier, more-precise tones. The extended scale length also works in conjunction with Variax alternative tunings—so you can play in any tuning, regardless of the tension and feel of the strings. With Variax Shuriken, you can go far beyond the range of any standard 6, 7 or even 8 string guitar.

I asked Stevic MacKay about Shuriken: it will be less expensive then 2014 Shuriken priced 2000-3000 AUD and... 1) he use it in standard Drop D tuning plus "27" scale and bridge tracks better than any Variax to date."

It's RME ,probably $900

https://www.rme-audio.de/en/products/digiface_usb.php

https://www.sweetwater.com/insync/rme-digiface-usb/

The RME Digiface USB portable digital audio interface provides top-shelf sound and powerful features that you can take anywhere. This interface takes RME's famous HDSP Digiface and improves it with USB 2 connectivity, bus power, and expanded I/O. Each of the Digiface USB's four optical inputs/outputs accepts either ADAT or S/PDIF. SMUX and SMUX4 are supported, providing the utmost in flexibility. Create Feedback at Any Volume
Use the DOD FreqOut pedal to coax natural-sounding feedback from your guitar amplifier at any volume, with or without distortion. You even have control over the harmonics that are highlighted, leading to amazingly musical results. The sound is full and huge, just like a howling guitar amplifier. The footswitch can be set for momentary or latching operation, and you can choose whether your dry signal is mixed with the effect. When you want to generate feedback in low-volume situations, Sweetwater highly recommends the DOD FreqOut feedback creation pedal.
Pitch detection technology gives you control over feedback frequencies
The DOD FreqOut pedal uses pitch detection technology to constantly monitor the harmonic content of your guitar signal. You can select from seven different harmonics to highlight (Sub, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, Nat Low, and Nat Hi) which determine the character of the feedback effect. When you switch FreqOut on, it generates natural-sounding feedback that focuses on the harmonic mode you've selected.
DOD FreqOut Feedback Creation Pedal Features:
Generate natural-sounding amplifier feedback at low volume levels, with or without distortion
7 harmonic modes give you control over which frequencies are highlighted in the feedback
Dry signal can be mixed with the effect or turned off for effect-only operation
LED indicators display feedback signal level
Footswitch can be toggled between momentary and latching operation
True bypass switching removes the effect circuit from your signal path when disengaged
Onset and Gain controls to fine-tune the feedback behavior

How It Works
BACKBONE GUITAR RESONANCE ENHANCERS are direct bolt-on replacements for the stock neckplates of Tele and Strat style guitars. The 6 3/4" Stratobone and 11 1/4" T-Bone extend to form a resonant, mechanical link between the neck pocket, bridge and strings. Machined from lightweight aircraft aluminum, their revolutionary, patent pending design produces greater clarity, improved tone, longer sustain and enhanced resonance. Simply attach Backbone in place of the neck-plate and connect the base to the string ferrules or tremolo claw. The improvement is immediate. Teles sound more bell-like. Strats have more chime. Acoustically, your guitar will sound more alive, and your pickups will 'hear' more than ever before.

TWO MODELS - NO MODIFICATIONS TO THE GUITAR Stratobone for Strat-style, and T-Bone for Tele-style, they fit any guitar using the industry standard dimensions for bolt on necks. Invented and crafted in the USA, Backbone is affordable and totally non-invasive, providing the resonant qualities of a neck-through design combined with the sound and feel of your favorite guitar.

TONE BLOCK "MATERIAL TONAL DIFFERENCES" The Brass Tone Block produces a balanced frequency spectrum suitable for all playing styles from Rock, Pop and Country. The Aluminum Tone Block accentuates mid to high frequencies delivering a more aggressive, Metal sound. Introduced at the Winter NAMM Show, the Graph Tech TUSQTM Tone Block provides a more mellow, balanced tonal spectrum with slightly extended harmonics ideal for Blues, Jazz and Country.
