Hi, my first post since grabbing a gr30. I have two guitars with gk pick ups and one synth. I was wondering if roland ever built a switchable 13pin two in to one 13pin out so that I didn't have to pull leads out and swap whilst on a gig? Mind you it would probably be as cheap to  pick up another gr30 or gr 33 secondhand! Also my gr50 rack unit is locked into a weird noise, is there someone in uk thats fix's gr50?(No factory resets unit on that sadly)

No - this "2 IN / 1 Out" type switch box has always been a home brew custom - Roland never offered one.
EDIT see new GK Routers here

There is one from Switzerland, but it might as well be "unobtainium"

A few folks modify a Computer VGA A/B Switch box, since these already contain a multi-contact rotary switch and a box.

I'm planning on building one of these. My one hesitation is having the +7/-7v pins being switched without any kind of resistor or relay. Will this cause any damage to the components (mainly the GK pickups themselves) over time or is the only downside an audible crack when switching inputs?
