Hi,

I am trying to send midi messages to my VG-99 via a laptop (using usb to midi interface).  The reason I am doing this is so that I can get patch changes AND cc messages to my VG-99 in sync with backing tracks for my solo gigs.  I am using a program called SHOW BUDDY to do this.  I can send patch change messages to the VG-99 fine but, is there a way I can send also midi messages from my laptop to mimic the cc's in each of my patches in the VG-99 as well?

If I am understanding your question right you will have to set a CC# to target what you need controlled. They are not set up automatically like you would find in a keyboard. For example if you want to turn an FX on or off you will need to pick an ASSIGN and set it to a CC# that targets that FX then you send that CC# from the computer to control it. Does that make sense? If not ask more questions and we will try to answer them. Hope This helps!
