Hi Guys,

I had some success with setting up my VG99 tonight so I thought I'd share my findings.

1) Make sure you change your string sensitivity in the GK preferences to below 30. I found 25 seemed to be about right for me on my Strat. Others on here have set it lower with success. Bottom line is - 65 - the default setting is too high IMHO
2) Make sure you DO measure the distance between the saddle of each string and the middle of each pick up on the GK3. It made a big difference to the accuracy of the triggering.
3) When playing don't play it like a guitar. Think about it.
4) Use gtak if you are using Kontakt.

cheers
Michael
