Hi Folks,

I have been trying to use my GT-001 with the audacity software, I have the latest driver on it the GT-001 and have specified it on as the input device within Audacity itself (with my computer speakers being the output). However, the signal is not getting through to it. Is there anyone who has managed to do this?

I should also say I am connecting the device to my computer via USB.

Thanks.

The GT-001 on Windows is an ASIO Audio interface. However  Audacity is a shareware program and legally they had to remove direct support for ASIO Audio Interfaces ( they explain this and the work around on their wiki)

details here:

QuoteAudacity supports ASIO but that support is not distributed in releases for licensing reasons. Audacity can be compiled with ASIO support as long as that build is not distributed to others.
