Almost bought a RC-300 last week, but got two gigs cancelled and ended up a bit short on cash. My main gripe with the RC-505 is the lack of a sub output. Now I'm back with Mobius and finally took the time needed to learn some scripting. Made a custom floorboard with 8 switches and plugged 6 of those into my FC-300 and two directly to the VG-99. I then gave each controller a fixed midi assignment on the VG-99. USB from VG-99 to my old MacBook, some MidiPipe magic, and I'm in looper heaven. Discrete inputs, multiple outputs and switchable configurations. I use only two loops for what I'm doing so it set the switches up like this:

Button 1 - Track 1 script with record->overdub->play and overdub if pressed again.
Button 2 - Track 1 script with mute - sustained press=reset
Button 3 - Track 2 script with record->overdub->play and overdub if pressed again.
Button 4 - Track 2 script with mute - sustained press=reset
Button 5 - Track 1 script with loop restart for stutter/faked drum breaks
Button 6 - All tracks Stop/Start script
Button 7 - Global mute
Button 8 - Global reset

FC-300 is available at all times for VG-99 usage.

To V or not to V: That is the question.

Ok, scripts attached.
Some more about Mobius scripting can be found here: Mobius Scripting

4 scripts attached in the zip file.
- Record/Overdub/Playback wih sustained undo.
- Custom Mute with reset.
- Retrigger/Stutter
- All play/stop

I assign these to track or group depending on setup.

My pedal board is made using some leftover laminate flooring and a beat up Warwick Rockcase with the bottom inner plate removed.

Grabbing scripts right now!  I have VG-99/FC-300/RC-300 - the rest is a piece of cake!

I took a set of midi bass pedals (midipeds I made from a kit for $60 off ebay) and mapped note numbers to Mobius settings.
Easy beezy.
Mobius tends to crash on me though after 30minutes.
But the pedals work great.
