Hello!

I use two source of sound when preforming with ableton, one is VG-99 over USB(guitars) and the other Alesis iO2 over usb(vocals). What I would like to do is to combine them in audio-midi preferences, and then choose inputs and outputs of each in ableton.
The problem is, that I don´t get any signal from Alesis or VG-99 when I choose the Aggregate.
It does also not work in any combination like input Alesis and output VG-99 or opposite. Is it possible that they simple can´t work together or am I missing something?? Sorry, I´ve been cracking my head all day with this.

Thanks!

Elantric

Aggregate OSX Audio devices can be hit or miss. Some Audio interfaces refuse to co-operate.

Be sure you are following the Apple Agregate Audio Device tutorials

Thanks for reply, went through tutorial 3 times, everything as in tutorial, nothing works. :(
Looks like the VG-99 is unable to work with other devices, since there are reports of success with Alesis iO2. Anyone tried to aggregate the VG-99 with any other device?

Thanks Elantric, I finally figured it out!! Stupid mistake as always, I was using Belkin powered usb HUB, it works great for one interface, however it confuses the computer when connecting two interfaces to it.
I now plug Alesis iO2 directly to usb on macbook and VG-99 to hub along with some midi controllers and hard drives. Works perfectly!
