Elantric has a great solution for a battery that can power an entire pedalboard. I have used and wrestled somewhat with rechargeable batteries as they don't easily supply the 9v DC that Boss pedals require.

Here is a "throw-and-go" option that really is cheap and simple. It pumps out 500 ma continuous, just fine for robust pedals. It's the "Tom'sLine" APW-3. I used a couple of pieces of velcro tape to attach it to the GP-10 so that it is absolutely easy to transport. The GP-10 is such a powerhouse that by itself it can give me terrific tones through my Cube Street Exp for weddings and outdoor parties.

I just got it, so I haven't tested it for very long. It cost only $30 from Amazon, Reverb has it for $99(?).
