Hello,

Not sure if I ever said hello before, or when I actually joined this place?

Anyway, I have owned a GK-3 and a GR-20, just traded up to a GR-33.

I wanted to say hello before I unload when a ton of questions on the other forum with all my stupid questions.  I also have a Fretlight Strat that came with what looks like a Graphtec piezo bridge.

So hello, and I will post elsewhere with all I hope to learn!

Welcome to the Forums Dave, hope you get answers to your questions.

You may be interested to have a read of this (if you haven't already)

...a point to note is that the GR-20 did not precede the GR-33...in fact it was the other way around and, given Roland's practice of constantly dumbing down the next model, it could perhaps explain some of your frustrations although 'trading up' was quite possibly what you achieved after all !   ;)

There is however a wealth of information here for the asking, and a great number of people willing to help.

HTH

Cheers,
Peter

Thanks for the link and post.

I actually did find that before, but I never read all of it.

FYI - The GrapeLight editor now lives here, and the site suggested no longer has it available. I also joined the Yahoo group, but since I already got the file, I don't really need that group.

I also uploaded BOTH editors to my site, as just another mirror:

www.davelikesbeer.com/gr30edit.zip

Thanks for the info, the tracking part of that guys site is also interesting.
