That pretty much sums up me, New Old Stock. I just joined the forum yesterday after finding mention of it on the Line6 Variax forum. I've been playing guitar since I was 12, but had a 30 year period where life got in the way. I took it up seriously again, six years ago, when I turned 60. I'll be 66 in about a week.
I play lead guitar in a high energy rock band. Not metal or anything, just energetic "B" side songs, with as few ballads as we can get away with and still get bookings.
I own a Helix, two Variax, and a Katana 100 combo. So there's lots of sections of this forum to keep me interested.
I also own a Roland Blues Cube Artist (which I like better than my Katana), (am I allowed to say that?). I'm a little surprised there isn't a section for the Blues Cube. It's such a fine bridge type product between tube amps and modelers.
So I hope to be around for a while and maybe contribute some piece of knowledge here and there.

Welcome to the forum.

QuoteI'm a little surprised there isn't a section for the Blues Cube.

we do have a 2 page thread for those here

Since Blues Cube is "point & Shoot" for getting a tone, and no access to any other tones (until you purchase Tone Capsules) and no Editor, and no "patches"  - there is not much need of a dedicated section for those

( same applies to the other Roland Cubes)

Boss Katana is different, as its DSP based has many features awaiting to be unlocked and has a few Editors and patch sharing
