Hey all; previously had the FTP on a Fender Strat. I'm about to pop it on a Warmoth with a short scale 24.75" neck. The question being, is there anything detrimental to using the FTP on a shorter scale guitar, or does it perform equally on the shorter scale?

Not sure if I can chime in anything useful here, but my GR-30 with a 0.052 low C string and 24" scale length performs somewhat fine with a GK-3, though!

I can't imagine there being a difference as long as you install the pickup as per the instructions.

the most important thing is to have the guitar properly intonated and pickup installed the correct distance from the strings and bridge , this has a far bigger impact on the overall performance than the choice of scale in my usage. I've used it on both scales and can't say which performs better.

Cool! I'll just revisit the install guide (it's been a couple years), and make sure I follow it to the T.
