Guys,..
I am looking for some advice on various software for Mac OSX to create multi track demos.

I am planning a two week "Stay-cation" in late September, ( vacation bank will be full at 120 hours and won't be accruing so HR making me use it, and I'm just chilling at home), and want to make some demos of gear, step by step. Lay a drum track, bass, guitars etc, each time adding a new video and audio track.

Many moons ago I did this using a demo of Sony Vegas, which was really easy, but I want to hear from my fellow forum members about their experiences, what they use, what's good, bad, etc.

I am hoping to decide what to use, purchase install, experiment a bit so that by the last 2 weeks in Sept I will be in a position to get a lot accomplished .

Any advice is greatly appreciated!
