GR-55 - Looking for a zztop sound

hi guys

im looking for a good zztop sound

i am willing to try all of them
i know jim williams had a couple or here some were
but i just cant seem to find them

Stratfever, you may also have a look at the VG99 patch section where SMASH posted a good ZZ-TOP Patch recently.

You need not have a VG. Just download the VG99-editor and the Mid. file (FILE-IMPORT SMF) and notify all the settings. Transfer the settings manually to the GR 55. Don't load the VG99-file into the GR55!
Then you may get similar results.

There is a firmware update from Roland that gives your GR 55 like 30 new patches and one of them is called Full Beard Boogie or something like that and it is very ZZ Top sounding.
