I made a couple of bell patches for a Christmas special we are doing at church. The variation on the 'bell string2' is adjusting the string strength, and turning off the low E and A strings....to give a more 'music box' sound  :)

After posting, I did a library save of my 1st 6 patch groups...to show the other samples I made, in trying to find the right sound for our song, they may be of interest to see variations of tones.  The bells are on the GK knob, and strings on the effects pedal. Ctrl is set to 'reverb' . :)

Very nice. Are you still liking the Wechter?

Yes! still my favorite.

Here is another version of the song. This time the bell is just on the 'A' string, and that allows more of the string patch. My purpose is to be a background support, and help the song to sound good. The recorded part I am playing with was from Wednesday night practice....I had forgotten to pack my power supply ::)  .... so I was just playing straight guitar. So, that gave me a great backing tape to play with :)

That arrangement is even better. Nice use of the GR-55.
I'm very surprised that only you and I have seemed to discover the Wechter. It's a great playing guitar, with a beautiful fit and finish, and the synth access is the best I've encountered. Maybe because they are only at Sweetwater, they haven't caught on.

this is the performance from church service today (12-21-14). I ended up using the bell patch on just the 'A' string, and light strings. our lead guitarist threw in a little extra riff in the last chorus ;D

I don't think Wechter's old company is still making guitars

Once again, very nice!

Those custom guitars are pricey... I'll have to make due with production models. Thanks.
