For newbies like me-

This is an elaborate video on how to download, setup, and syn the GR -55 library
software on your computer with your Roland GR 55 pedal board. It shows-

1. How to download and install GR -55 Library.
2. How to syn with pedal board
3. How to add/move/backup patches between your computer and the GR 55.

Though I did all this myself before coming across this nifty link, it still is a nice and
useful video.

Elantric, guys, I have a question here if you please-

The total sound list on the GR -55 shows 99 ( Shows on this video too). But when the
author copies the Eric Johnson patch, it seems to remove some patches from the GR 55 (?)

MY point being- how much memory would the GR-55 have on board memory to receive new patches?
How do we know that?

The Roland GR-55 has a User patch area capable of storing 297 User Patches.

* There are 99 Banks
and
* Three Patches per bank

So 99 x 3 = 297 User Patches numbered 1-1 thru 99-3
