Hi all. I am new to the forum and a new owner of the GT-1. I was wondering if most GT-1 users are using it with batteries or using a power adapter. I just purchased a truetone 1 spot and it's got a much strong static noise compared to using it with batteries. I am thinking whether I should return the 1 spot and stick with batteries or buy the psa power supply. Any thoughts?

I 1000% prefer battery power , as it solves many noise issues

I use rechargeable AA batteries in GT-1, Cube Street EX

And converting my main pedalboard for battery operation

I told Thomas Nordegg about my discoveries with battery power and he has now modified Steve Vai's pedalboard for 100% battery power.

Thanks Elantric. I guess I am sticking with batteries then.
