I am feeling really nervous on fitting this to my RG. Can anyone basically help calm my nerves on this. I want to use the double sided tape approach. I know there are similar threads so I apologize for waste of a thread. Any pictures/tips would be great. Did you find bridge height to strings OK to just install it etc etc. Any tips would be great. This is my first venture into synthesized guitar.

My Ibanez is this model stock

No need to be nervous - I've swapped external GK pickups around so many times I've lost count. A bit of sticky tape on the bottom of the pickup, then just stick it in front of the bridge as close to the bridge as you can get without interfering with the trem, with the saddles lined up under the strings. IF you run into issues with clearance it could get interesting. If it won't fit between the bridge and the bridge pickup, you may need to consider a different guitar, or be prepared for some serious mods. The RG looks like it should have plenty of room. As for the height of the pickup, if it is not causing the strings to buzz you're in good shape - you want the GK pickup height to come as close to the strings as you can without buzzing. Sometimes this even requires multiple layers of tape to raise the pickup height.

Stick it on, plug it in, have some fun  :D
