Sounds like a bunch of semi-distorted guitar stuff with real short slap delays employing ring modulation thru gated reverb and I hear analog delay time sweeps?

yeah , you're most likely right ,
I'd did some patches on GR4
that sort of randomly changed timbres  automatically.
and loops at the same time.
I'd like to do that on the VG 99+a looper
without tweaking any controllers realtime ( or not a lot :)

Wow that's really amazing. But if I checked out all the possible soundsettings I would be 64....
On the other hand Stian Westerhus inspired me playing the guitar with a violin bow from time to time....

I don't want to haul another gadget that's really why I got the VG99, to size down from
VG88 which btw I still gig with because i love the sounds.
