XY MIDIpad mini     EUR 129
XY MIDIpad mini is a miniature version of XY MIDIpad. Smaller size makes it possible to install it on any guitar! Despite reduced size, it offers the same functionality as its bigger brother. There is a touch screen with full 0-127 MIDI CC range, hold button to freeze the current message, rotary encoder to change programs, full colour RGB LED and more. Just plug it into any MIDI device and use all of its capabilities!

MIDI Strip     EUR 129
MIDI Strip is a MIDI controller based on resistive strip. It was designed to be installed in electric guitar body. It is a tool which allows the user to control virtually any MIDI device, such as Kaoss Pad, synthesizer and DAW applications, such as FL Studio, GarageBand, Logic Pro or Cubase. The resistive strip is very responsive, giving the user a chance to accurately adjust the parameter he wants to control.

Mines an amptone labs kit

http://amptonelab.com/xy-midipad.html

So far seems to work great just got it installed a few months ago.
Originally I got it to use with my kaoss pad and digitech whammy which
Works great for both

Over all I'm really happy with it
As far as the gr 55 goes it isn't super compatible or user friendly with anything I'm general it seems lol but it's also totally worth it if you put the time into it I love mine injust wish I could do a little more with it get some arpa going.  Or even am old school noise channel I want to make chiptunes so bad I'm trying to make some patches there's a lot you can tweak but no pwm freq it seems it would be great to select a duty cycle :D

As far as the xy pad goes for all I knownit works with the gr 55 but I haven't really messed with it or figured out a good litmus test.

If I could make the xy pad take the place of the gr55s pedal that would be great I think but from what I understand most of the cc settings are specific channels not ranges so i have no idea how to do that
Although I could probably change patches with the encoder or something
I'm just not sure how to implement the xy pad into a patch yet
