Now, I'm not entirely sure this patch is of use to anyone really. I just made it for my own enjoyment. I "found" the accapella of Seal's Crazy  (not hard) and started messing around...

THIS PATCH NEEDS AN FC300 TO PLAY LIVE!!

So we have a very compressed strat on COSMA with octave down e to provide bass. On COSM B we have a tele hevily limited, sliced, phasered, chorused delayed and verb'd!

What the FC300 does...

Control 1 turns slicing on and off, control 2 turns strat on and off, Exp1 controls "keyboard" level Exp2 is wah for start during bridge.

Playing it....

For the intro control 1&2 off. Second part of intro ctrl1 on for familiar sliced keyboard sound
As verse starts kick in ctrl2 after once round back off exp1 for the verse. bring it back in for choruses.
Use Wah for bridge - I'm sure you'll work it out :)

Demo...

So....here is me, my VG99 and Seal in my living room - very much live, one take and no additional post processing or effects

Smash this is a very interesting Seal interpretation! Nice guitar settings (what about posting the patch?) And a wonderful voice.....!

Patch should be attached to post as .mid

I'll pass your compliments on to Seal about his voice, lol!

For those wanting to have their very own Seal jam - the vocal can be found here: https://soundcloud.com/user2614347/seal-crazy-studio-acapella (102.78bpm worked for me on Cubase SX)

THX for passing them to SEAL ;) but all in all a very convincing and reliable production! ;)

Absolutely fantastic - brilliant patch and interpretation with Mr. Seal helping out.

Thanks for kind words - just have fun with it. Probably a good one for soundchecks! :)

Being able to do this kind of thing is why I love the VG99 so much - hard to imagine any other one box solution being able to do this (apart from GR55 I guess).

Sounds great. Seal was one of my favorites...until he split from Trevor Horn!

Update - this patch is one of the top ten I've ever heard from anyone and it's tons of fun to play with!  Right up there with kope and his "Shine on you Crazy Diamond" patch.  Bravo!  This is now sitting in user patch 149 for anytime I need faux sequencer clean rhythm guitar for any 4/4 tune!

Great job programming and playing the demo! Can't wait to load it into the 99 and try it out.
