This is probably old news to Roland V-Guitar veterans, but I just now noticed that the filter springs back in either direction in the GR-300. I was trying to fake a short decay in the GR-300 using the filter (I try to make patches in GR-300 first if I think it's even possible - nicest to play), and I noticed here comes the cutoff right back up... Makes a neat, unusual envelope shape that you can't really get with the OSC. Thought I'd share.

That's pretty cool!  (I'm assuming the piano is not the GP-10?)

Thanks. Yeah it's just the first piano in the library in Logic.

In my fantasy world, Roland abandoned guitar-to-MIDI in the early 90's, doubled down on COSM/HRM, and got so far along that they could pull off a piano like that with DSP alone.  :)

Man that would be the thing.
