On my 50th birthday friends decided to please me with a surprise: A brand new LTD ST-213 (http://www.espguitars.com/products/9768-st-213-ash-rosewood-nat?category_id=1963308-st-series). I like this guitar play-ability so I was thinking about giving her superpowers by adding a Roland Pickup. Today I have found only new GK3 at the usual shop but I have crafted my User Patches with a GK2A mounted on my Fender Strat Plus. So I know that there are many profiles in VG99 and I can use them with as many guitars as I want but what really changes when operating two different hexa-pickups? What should I expect?

1. Better to replace the old GK2A with a new GK3?
2. Divide the usage between VG99 and GP10 (bought with the GK3 bundle)

What your experience suggests?

Best Regards
Paolo

Read the VG-99 manual

The VG-99 supports multiple GK Input profiles and you can enter a name for each guitar used

Change the GK Profile when you change guitars , and you can still use your existing patches.

Thanks Elantric,

I was more worried about using the same patches with different pickups and slightly different setups (two different guitars).
But your comment was a relief.
