Dear Community,

How to set up

Acoustic Guitar with 13 pin (producing 12 string sound)
Electric Guitar for real direct analogue valve Amp input.

Is it possible to use the input on the VG99´s back in addition to the 13 pin connection?
I guess I would need to setup each patch individually when programming the inputs. Hope this could work...;-))

Thanks for your help

Hey,

saw this one.

Correct!

You must program this yourself

Its explained here:

https://www.vguitarforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,13.0.html

* How to mix GK + Normal PU sounds with the VG-99

Press the "Modeling Type" switch on the VG99 then go to Page 6 and
there's two knobs for mixing the "COSM Gtr" and "Normal PU" sound. By
default the "Normal PU"(1/4" Input) sound is zero so you have to write the patch
if you edit it (obviously). Since it's possible to be using two
Modeling Types at the same time (A and B) then each has it's own mix
control.

And Be sure to use the User patch area 001-200

I guess its about the volume settings of the different inputs, which I will check out. The link of your post above leads to a long list of different topics, I feel.

THX so much!

I was on my cell phone when i located and posted the pertinent thread

While there are more answers to concepts besides your specific question   -  What you need to know is still in that thread.

Somehow I don´t get the Guitar Input sound into the VG 99 when GK "ON" is selected.
I would liket o use an eGuitar for Direct input and the GK3 PU on an Acoustic Guitar. At the moment I have to switch forth and back the GK setting "On" & "OFF" in the SYSTEM section.

I thought about programming the patches to toggle this on and off...
