So it looks like it is talking midi over USB and that you can change patches and do tap tempo from the editor. My interest is rising...

NUX Cerberus firmware upgrade as well as the software editor is now officially available. Here's the upgrade as well as the software.

But many will encounter problems upgrading under Windows. You have to set your device to DFU mode.. NUX hasn't put those information in the manual but I figured it out.

1. Turn Cerberus Off.
2. Connect USB Cable
3. Open NUX DFU Updater
4. Push Footswitch A + B simultaneously and turn On Cerberus
5. Now it's in DFU mode and will be instantly recognized by the NUX DFU Updater.. then just select the .bin file included and perform the Firmware upgrade.

Now there's a bug fixed (CTRL setting saved into each preset) and you can use the software editor with your Cerberus.

Btw. pushing Save & Control simultaneously followed by pressing Save after the display shows "FAC" will perform a factory reset.

None of those information are in the manual.. Nux has to update the manual asap.

Hope I could help.

hello, it is possible with PC connection to configure the different CTRL for each presets, example preset 1A boost, preset 1B reverb, etc.

I believe he uses a USB connection between his brain and the box..........the speed with which he masters new pedals and complex processors is amazing, only topped by the speed he composes a new song to show it off.

Agreed -
I suspect he could make a Vypyr VIP or Marshall CODE actually sound good

That is setting the bar rather high.
