Yes it is good news!

Yamaha MD-BT01 Wireless MIDI adaptors

Looks similar to the Quicco wireless MIDI https://www.vguitarforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=11231.0.  Hopefully Yamaha will provide proper support, unlike Quicco who have no update for IOS 9.2 and who no longer respond to email.

If connected to floor gear, Don't step on it or you break the MIDI Jacks and  connected gear's PC board

For anyone considering the new Yamaha UD-BT01 for use

I have tried it with the fishman triple play and compared to the new PUC+ which works perfectly(after a firmware update)

Yamaha UD-BT01 drops notes frequently. Any fast runs on the guitar result in many missing notes , other than that latency is acceptable and it connects fine 9 out of 10 times. Personally I will be using it for my kids piano.
